No Prize/Pop. Faith in a Different Order of Things

*OLIOPOP THE MANIFESTO* is a series of considerations written in 2016, for the most part.
This is the formalization of a completed path, of a review of the company's goals, of the reference market, of our ethical and ideological positioning.
We are reposting it here, just as it was published on our old blog in 2016. Because we are always OlioPop, if possible even more!
Sooner or later we'll make a series of t-shirts :) or a serious corporate poster!
Double P. As in any self-respecting opposition/couple, one opposes the other, and together they form a fantastic duo.
The denial, NO PRIZE, echoes rebellions and reflections of the end/beginning of the millennium (someone will understand).
NO PRIZES, NO PANNERS. Let's say we have a problem with competition. It's us, it's our fault. I'd leave it at that.
Otherwise we risk attracting the ire of an entire sector that makes prizes, important fairs, awards, presence in very exclusive guides, cups, medals and competitions everywhere, its reason for existence. Not us. Take it or leave it. That's how it is.
The statement: WE ARE POP! Popular, popular, pop, because we are not interested in appearing, but only in being. We are not interested in form, but in substance. For example, we will never spend a thousand thousand euros for a screaming packaging. Or for a super super mega beautiful website.
First, why? Second, because it wouldn't be us. Respect for the land, respect for the product, respect for the consumer, and I would add respect for ourselves. Simplicity, truth, conservation, long term.
We refuse to be trendy, we refuse the term excellence, and all the strange wagon that it brings with it. We are a family, that for three generations has dedicated itself to this profession. To making oil.
That's all!
What you see is what you get, and if I'm not mistaken, we've already said that.
For us this is the revolution.
A small, sparkling certainty.
Yes, we will always remain small and extremist.
Yes, don't worry, some things never change.
